So visually impaired people in India can ask about what's in front of them and hear the answer in their own language.
Ivia started as our college project. With my co-founders Kevin Colaco and Dev Patel, I'm now building it into a small camera that clips onto your glasses, and an app. I work on the product, the hardware and the core engine.
So much of daily life is small print, on tablet strips, light bills and bus boards. If your eyes are weak, you wait for someone to read it to you. We're building Ivia so you can ask it instead.
A small camera that clips onto your glasses, and an app on your phone. Look at print, like a tablet strip, a light bill or a bus number, ask out loud, and hear a short answer in English, Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu or Kannada. We plan to launch on Android and iPhone.
B.Tech in Computer Science from CHARUSAT (2024), CGPA 9.7, and 3+ years building production AI and data systems. Three kinds of work feed straight into Ivia.
Getting clean text out of noisy pictures is the work I know best. A marksheet scanner I built won the SSIP hackathon, and our college project that became Ivia won gold at Maker Fest Vadodara.
I built AI and real-time data systems that ran every day for a markets product: LLM editorial tooling, a live audio-to-ticker pipeline, and automated financial story generation.
ML signal engines, multi-broker execution with risk controls on every order, and backtesting tools that refuse results no one could earn. This work taught me to measure a system before I trust it.
Each project below covers the problem, the approach, the stack, and the outcome. Tap any project for the full story.
Depth in Python, machine learning, and data, with the systems and infrastructure skills to put models into production and keep them running.
I'm glad to hear from investors, accelerators, partners and anyone who works with visually impaired people. Write to me here or by email, and you can read more about Ivia at ivia.co.in.
